Question: Getting paid to take surveys really true?

I was thinking of joining some kind of site to "get paid to do surveys " but i dont know.... it seems too good to be true. Does anyone have any info on these types of things? Or suggest a particular site? How about pros and cons? Or does anyone have any personal experince with these things? =) thanks. I mean i know it is not going to be like a real job with hundreds of dollars a week, but i just thought of it like as something to do as a small hobby i guess? and maybe get a couple of bucks out of it.

Unless you enjoy working for wages that are on par to children in 3rd world countries who are making baskets or rugs, there are no survey sites that you are going to make any real money on. What you WILL get is a computer loaded up with spyware, adware, viruses and a trojan for good measure. LOL

Getting a couple of bucks out of it .... Unfortunately the risks outweigh the benefits. You will be exposed to the threat of ID theft your computer will be subject to all sorts of sick & twisted software that these sleezie operators engage in ... Really NOT A GOOD IDEA! Not worth the risk ... Good Luck.

The legitimate ones may get you $200 to $300 a year tops. Any site that asks you to pay up front (and there are thousands) is a pure SCAM.
